3 Way Cat Tunnel
When it come to good times for your cat, tunnels and tubes top the list. The wide variety and low cost makes these a nearly perfect toy for your little fuzz-butts!
The company Tailmate makes a great tube that is sure to please even the most discriminating of felines. It's not just the ordinary straight line crinkle tube, but a tube that goes in three or four directions! At around $29 on Amazon, it is one of the higher priced crinkle cat tubes, but the hours of endless fund for your cat makes it well worth the price. It comes in several different colors and, according to my friend at Demolition Services Fort Worth, this cat tube is practically indestructible. And he definitely knows what he's talking about when it come to what can be demolished and what can't - after all, that's his business!
The Tailmate 3-way and 4-way tunnels are super strong and made to last with their solid steel frames and inner scratch proof material. There is an additional hole in the middle where all the tubes meet for extra peek-a-boo fun for multiple cat households. A cute, dangling fur ball at the tunnel opening attacks your cat and entices him or her to jump right in an enjoy. Find these awesome crinkle cat tubes at Amazon!
Your Cat Needs Meat
Anyone who is owned by a cat or two (or three ...) knows that cats are obligate carnivores. This simply means that your cat is genetically designed to eat the tissue of other animals in order to thrive. Note that this doesn't say "in order to survive" because, obviously, cats have survived on many varied types of diets depending on what their human slaves believe, can afford and, therefore, feed to their kitties. And while your cat loves to eat animal meat in it's most natural form, they also may eat vegetables, fruits or grains. Still, meat must be the main food for your cat in order for them to get the nutrients they need to "thrive."
For pet owners, there are currently many more options to help you feed your cat a species appropriate diet than there were even five years ago. There are recipes for home made raw and cooked cat foods; there are prepared frozen raw cat foods sold in many pet stores these days; there are freeze dried from raw also now available in most pet specialty stores like PetSmart, PetCo, and the smaller boutique pet stores.
The superior benefits of feeding your cat a raw diet, whether prepared at home or purchased in a store in one of its many forms are numerous! I've listed several below, but, honestly, there are so many benefits that to list them all would take hours.
Benefits of Feeding Raw
Thanks for the Star Chaser, Bergan
There has always been some sort of ball-in-a-track toy. Some have scratching pads in the middle, some are open all over, some are enclosed (like the Kong Eight Track which includes catnip) some lie flat on the ground and some come in other shapes like a ball, for example.
My cats have always been sort-of fans of these toys, playing with them on occasion. Not super excited, but a way to cure the boredom for a minute. Enter the Bergan Star Chaser cat toy! Starting at around $12 on Amazon, this toy is affordable entertainment practically guaranteed to entice your cat into some zany playtime. I can (almost) guarantee your cats will love it.
The excitement level of the ball-in-track toy just ramped up times 100 due to the ingenious twinkle ball. This ball-in-a-track has been taken to a whole new level of play for our kitties just by the addition of this amazing little ball. This toy appears, at first glance, to be just like all the other flat ball-in-track toys, with its round track encircling a scratching pad. What makes it unique is the flashing ball. This little ball lights up and flashes when batted by your cat!
For Gidget, Nelly and me, our all-time favorite cat toys, dishes and fountains have all come from the Catit company. Catit is innovative when it comes to interactive toys for your kitties. They have an entire series of toys with interactive features to keep your cats busy for hours. And the neatest thing about these cat toys is how thay all fit together.
So lets say, for example, you purchase just the Senses 2.0 food and treat tree. While this is an amazing toy all by itself, it can be combined later on with other wonderful and entertaining toys such as Circuit, Wellness Center, and a Grass Planter. What you end up with is a spectacular play and entertainment center for your kitties.
Doesn't that look like fun? It will honestly keep your cats entertained for hours. The scratching post in the picture above is the Senses 2.0 Scratcher. Each cardboard scratching disc is independent of the others so you can move them around to get different surfaces to keep you cats from getting bored with a plain ordinary scratching post. This item was just a part of Catit's "Test and Keep" program.
